"AMAZING EXPERIENCE, BEST THING TO DO ON THE ISLAND"If you are visiting the island of Kauai and want to do something other than the normal tourist routine than by all means give a call to Kauai Hiking Tours. Our guide took us on a day hike on the island and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He was knowledgeable about the island, understood the ecosystem, plants and animal species. Sure you can go out and hike on your own but the benefits of having a knowledgeable guide are priceless. We ended up on the best trails for the weather that day, which also happened to be the ones without the big crowds. We were able to ask questions about the history of the island, learn about the legends & myths of Kauai and what it is like to live on the island today.
The company was able to tailor a hike for us that was within our comfort level. Everything that we needed was provided for us including hiking poles and special grip chains for our shoes so we wouldn’t slide in the mud. Hiking with Kauai Hiking Tours was definitely the highlight of our visit to Kauai. I highly recommend this company and hope to hike with them again when I return to the island! - Bob C. "Unforgettable!"What can I say...you go on a hike like that (Na Pali Coast) and you come back and you are just not quite the same...just pure beauty...this hike was the only time I told myself "I need to drop everything I have going on back home and move here". I didn't but I sure did want to!

“Adventure Time!”If you are looking for a true adventure, this is it! I only had one day in Kauai, I flew in early morning and flew out in the evening but thanks to Kauai Hiking Tours I was able to see a lot. Prior to booking the company had very good communication about what the tour included and my expectations. The guide picked me up from the airport promptly, even had fresh grape fruit cut for me. From there we headed to our 1st hiking destination to get an amazing view of the Na Pali Coast. On the drive we stopped at many scenic lookouts of Waimea Canyon. The guide was very knowledgeable about the island, plants, birds, ect. The hikes we took were slightly challenging but the guide provided all the proper gear and assistance when needed. I am not an avid hiker by any means and had no trouble. We stopped by a farmers market and had some delicious pineapple ice cream. Finally, I was lucky and we were able to see some sea turtles up close! I highly recommend this tour, in fact it was the highlight of my trip to the islands! Hope this helps and happy adventures :)

“Extraordinary Hiking Adventure!”Our guide was able discern our level of adventure and difficulty and quickly decided on a hike that was challenging but rewarding. Especially when we hike to bluffs over the Na Pali coast. We could not have imagined a greater view. At the end of the hike, we felt very satisfied and grew in our knowledge of the local environment.
